ABSTRACT
The author shares insight on the role of chartered accountants in influencing business decisions and attitudes. She notes the need for efficient operations and better return on investments on the part of the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACC). She refers to evidence-based injury prevention measures as the focus area of the ACC and she challenges accountants and leaders to promote an injury prevention culture. She gives details of the proposals to reduce 2014/15 levies.
