ABSTRACT
The article offers the author's insights regarding the Mastered For iTunes (Mfi) available at iTunes Store. He mentions five MFi misconceptions including that MFi droplet allows encoding of iTunes Plus masters, a MFi file differ from a CD sharing, and newly improved masters need to begin with a highresolution digitization of the original analog source in order to be sold. He adds that notes that encoding of Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) files is attributable to a two-step process.
