ABSTRACT
The author discusses his visit to Thailand in January 2012 and describes the country as having a very well developed film, television and TVC screen sector, with real interest in international partnerships. He also observed that television and TV commercial production occupy majority of the Thai screen sector. He further mentions some of Thailand's strengths which include its value as a shooting location, its 2D and 3D short and long form animation, and its expertise in the martial arts genre.
