In this article the author reflects on the condition of employees at the Balsams Resort in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire after the property has been closed to perform renovation for at least nine months. He relates that the Balsams Resort has served as the venue for the 2011 Management Roundtable meeting of the Maine Credit Union League. He notes that the new owners closed the facility effectively after the last day of the meeting.
