ABSTRACT
In this article, the author discusses several strategies and ideas on how to exploit credit union (CU) cooperative model. He suggests to consider Credit Union Service Organizations (CUSOs) as a collaborative extension of the CUs owner and stop thinking operational services CUSOs as vendors. He advices to develop metrics that will analyze the effectiveness of a cross-disciplinary collaboration. He also relates that CUs have to pursue loan yield to survive in the industry.
