In this article, the author discusses the insight of VanCity Credit Union's chief executive officer (CEO) Tamara Vrooman concerning credit unions (CUs) at the meeting of World Council of Credit Unions Inc. (WOCCU) in Scotland on 2011. He states his interest on the answer of Vrooman on the question regarding the need for CUs to scale to survive.
