ABSTRACT
In this article the author comments on the rulings of Supreme Court in Great Britain that turned the Scotland Act into a political battleground. He cites that the Supreme Court's ruling on the fair trial that was not received by convicted murderer Nat Fraser has overturned the Scottish Court of Criminal Appeal's ruling and infuriated First Minister Alex Salmond. He states that having a Supreme Court is a good thing to stop violations of human rights that may happen in the Scottish court.
