The authors discuss the challenges faced by business to develop leaders in the face of diminished resources to invest in leaders' development and the uncertainty of the future. If resources are the barrier, the authors suggest to find the answer where leadership is being developed in the organization and to seek ways to make the development more effective. On the uncertainty of the future, the authors recommend that the best approach is to identify some timeless truths and develop leaders against those truths.
