ABSTRACT
In this article the author discusses the pork promotional program of the National Pork Industry in the U.S., which includes print and television advertising that has a rythmic sounds for pork meal preparation. It states on the goals of the program such as to increase pork eating experience by 10% and increase in consumers' perceptions about pork as a flavorful meat protein. Also discussed is the marketing plan of the campaign which shifted from functional to emotional positioning.
