In this article the author discusses aspects of measurement as a critical component to successful advanced television (TV) and TV Everywhere models in the U.S. He stresses the percentage of adult broadband users who were enthusiastic about TV Everywhere services and those who are willing to pay for online video. The author adds that cable operators need to create and optimize new revenue streams and eliminate redundant systems to capitalize on advanced TV and video.
