In this article, the author discusses the ethical practices in life insurance. She notes that insurance leaders are challenged in demonstrating sufficient courage to precede short-term profits for future insurance industry. She mentions the necessity to monitor variable life policies funding. She points out that quick replacement of underperforming variable contracts with lifetime guarantees is necessary.
