ABSTRACT
In this article, the author discusses the achievements of Mark DeBellis, who spent nearly half a year driving more than 16,000 miles to visit about 200 credit unions. He contends that DeBellis discovered that various credit unions (CUs) lack information on what is happening at other CUs. It notes that the green-and-white van he was driving was emblazoned with credit union messages, along with the words "The Credit Union Road Trip" in blue lettering.
