In this article, the author discusses the management of Herpes zoster and postherpetic neuralgia in Canada. He stresses the significance of the increased use of the vaccine for Herpes zoster prevention to diminish the impact of the disease. He also emphasizes the need to develop better drugs for treating postherpetic neuralgia.
