ABSTRACT
In this article the author discusses the study by H. R. Nakhai-Pour and colleagues on the use of antidepressant agents during pregnancy. He says that the study uses prescription data and the analysis of 5,214 women who experienced abortion and took antidepressants. He mentions that the study shows the 68% risk of abortion in pregnancy caused by antidepressants. He adds that the study presents an evidence-based information for the need of drug safety during pregnancy to avoid complications.
