2010 Olympic Winter Games Chiropractic: The Making of History

In this article the author reflects on the role the College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada), or CCSS(C), played in having chiropractic services included in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, British Columbia. Prior to the 2010 Olympics chiropractic services had never been part of the medical services offered to athletes. The author noted that the 2010 Olympic Winter Games provided an inclusive, multidisciplinary approach to health care delivery for athletes.
