ABSTRACT
In this article the author discusses the use of other media by viewers to watch live broadcasts in the U.S. He states that the increase of web and mobile use could not push viewers away from watching live sports on television (TV). He cites the number of viewers for the 2010 Winter Olympics broadcast by NBC Universal Inc. and the National Basketball Association (NBA) All-Star game coverage by Turner Sports Inc. He also mentions that live sporting events is one of the TV options best served live.
