The author calls the human resource industry to action as the economy begins to recover and says that the post-recession world offers opportunities on business sustainability and building relationships. He says that there is a need for the human resource and learning and development (L&D) industry to develop a better understanding of business and its sustainability. He adds that they need to consider whether short-term gains are better than long-term sustainability.
