In this article, the author reflects upon the benefits of using nitrogen gas to inflate tires. He states that high purity nitrogen inflation gas helps maintain tire pressure longer than air and discusses the inflation pressure deficiencies caused due to nitrogen gas. He also cautions tire industry regarding exaggerations that nitrogen will render the tire indestructible and does not need care.
