Socialism and the West

In this article the author discusses the presence of socialism in the Western part of the U.S. He asserts that socialism aims to socialize certain cost of government services and programs which leverage government ownership through production. It also cites the hardship faced by socialist to succeed and gain independence in their endeavor.
