ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's comment on the 2009 Travel Convention in Barcelona, Spain. The author refers to the remarks of Shearings Group chief executive Denis Wormwell that flat is the new growth in the present climate. The author says that the way businesses are done has to change in order to survive the economic climate. The author comments on TUI Travel's Dermot Blastland's remarks that sustainability and climate change should be taken seriously.
