ABSTRACT
The author comments on the article "Ethics in Forensic Psychiatry: Re-imagining the Wasteland After 25 Year," by Professor Alan Dershowitz published within the issue. He mentions that ethics in forensic psychiatry have experienced little progression. According to the author, the standard position of Dershowitz regarding forensic psychiatry vis-a-vis the law states that forensic psychiatrists engaged in court proceedings are confined by ethics that differ from the ethics that cover doctors serving in their traditional roles.
