ABSTRACT
In this article the author discusses his sentiments about the independent financial advisers businesses(IFA) in Great Britain. He says that his rusty classic car is the same with many IFA businesses. He emphasizes that although rust is not visible in a business, there is a need to replace or upgrade many elements of it. He stresses that support is available to made the transition, but there is no harm to incorporate the qualities of the old vintage style with the new business model.
