ABSTRACT
In this article the author discusses the treatment of financial advisors concerning exclusions in financial services in Great Britain. She cites the different views of advisers regarding the role of exclusions, and relates the need for underwriters to consider their impact on sales and when policies are at risk. The author encourages insurance providers to follow the examples set by Bupa UK Health Insurance to change the mindset of the customers on the unfair treatments of other providers.
