ABSTRACT
The article comments on the state of the styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) market of Mexico. It has been stated that Industrias Negromex SA de CV (INSA) has charged that some parties are importing SBR into Mexico at prices not at fair market value and an antidumping complaint against imports could result by its investigation. It is evident that the slowdown in U.S. tire production could have diverted shipping of rubber to Mexico.
