ABSTRACT
In this article, the author discusses the issue concerning the impact of devolution on the management of animal health and welfare in Great Britain. It highlights the report of Calman Commission regarding devolutionary issues in Scotland such as devolved taxation. It says that the report also offers relevant recommendations on animal health. The author also talks about the topics to be discussed during the British Veterinary Association (BVA) Congress in Cardiff, Wales on September 24-26, 2009.
