ABSTRACT
The article expresses the author's opinions regarding a debate that has occurred involving the impact that placement efficacy can have on the success rate of dental implants. Debates regarding the bone loss that can occur surrounding a dental implant are discussed. The author's opinions regarding the impact of the strain of the bone surrounding an implant can have on the implant are mentioned.
