ABSTRACT
In this article the author discusses the importance of properly doing underwriting transactions so as to avoid post-issue modifications. She relates that insurers should manifest and implement sound and sure practices in order to reduce the need for post-issue underwriting and save it up for the flagrant ones. She presents three ways to counter the problem, which include verifying information and asking holistic information.
