Leadership Excellence Essentials;Jun2009, Vol. 26 Issue 6, p4
The author compares leaders to actors. She is critical of the charisma of leaders which makes many people believe in him or her. She points out that an actor can only achieve the attention of the audience and give them an unforgettable emotional experience when the performance is based on truth. She finds leadership similar to acting and believes that leaders must be real about his or her integrity and in his or her connection and empathy to people.
