ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the importance of education to business whether in good or bad times. The decision of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce to host its annual golf tournament which will benefit Nevada State College is cited as a demonstration of the commitment of the board of trade to promoting education. The important role played by the state college in Nevada's higher education system is also described.
