The author discusses the importance of coaching in companies during recession. He points out that the best response to crises of any kind is the resilient inner strength, whole-system vision, and compassion of people. He thinks that recession is the best time for executives to reflect on their motives, rethink their life purpose, and to develop a desire to contribute to the whole. He adds that organizations have to revisit their roles, their social contributions, and their ability to handle relationships.
