InTech;Apr2009, Vol. 56 Issue 4, p50
The author discusses his views on the use of 3D printers. He explains the benefits of 3D printing to the ability of designers and engineers to see physical models of their concepts before committing to more expensive options. He adds that he expect crafters to adopt the technology because it is also handy for manufacturing on demand everything from math manipulatives to anatomy models.
