ABSTRACT
In this article the author discusses the results of the study concerning the association between oral sexual behaviors and the detection of prevalent oral human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. She emphasizes that the findings strongly argues for additional well-designed studies to understand the natural history of oral HPV infection. Moreover, she indicates that the findings does not parallel the inverse trend of decreasing cervical HPV prevalence.
