ABSTRACT
In this article the author discusses effect of invasive pneumococcal disease (IPD) in children with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Authors are evaluative of the measures made by medical experts in obtaining appropriate protection against chronic diseases in HIV-infected children. Also investigated is the desirable response of HIV-infected children towards other vaccines such as pertussis, hepatitis B, hepatitis A and tenanus vaccines.
