ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's views on the essence of having a home and its importance in her life. It opines that transformation of a house into a home requires something more than style, taste and colors. It comments that home is a spiritual refuge, and is the place where one is always welcomed and loved. It is opined that it is the people and personal belongings which turns a house into a home.
