ABSTRACT
In this article the author discusses "The Death of Environmentalism," an essay published in late 2004 by Ted Nordhaus and Michael Shellenberger. According to the author, the essay criticized the environmental movement. Later, Nordhaus and Shellenberger converted their essay into a book titled "Break Through: From the Death of Environmentalism to the Politics of Possibility." However, the author says that the book was entirely different from the essay.
