ABSTRACT
In this article the author discusses the need to encourage more colleges to offer security management degree programs. He primarily assesses the information provided by the academia in educating students in terms of private security management, seeing the lack of knowledge of textbook and colleges on the crucial role of security management. In addition, he sees on the need for the enterprise security departments to get more involved, adapting to the changing nature of students and colleges.
