ABSTRACT
The author comments on the departure of David Curry from the chairman's job at Dairy UK and the subsequent fall-out with the National Farmers Union (NFU). According to the author, that incident is another reminder of how difficult it is for all the factions within any sector to work together. He asserts that Curry gave the dairy sector credibility and balance at Westminster and in Brussels.
