ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the research conducted by Property and Environment Research Center (PERC) to determine water efficiency threshold. It refers to the U.S. Energy Policy Act of 1992 which determines the minimum usage of water in plumbing fixtures, and high efficiency toilets which enhance water conservation. It states that the contractors recommend use of high-efficiency fixtures and flushometers to avoid any adverse effects on the drain line.
