ABSTRACT
Presents an obituary for L. Clifford Adams Jr., who died on April 3, 2003, of cancer. He was instrumental in forming both the Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia and the Municipal Gas Authority of Georgia. He created the gas authority in 1987 and helped to negotiate its supply contracts with its 74 member cities.
