The author explains the roles of the command and control management and humble inquiry in a Lean corporate environment. Topics discussed include the command and control management approach refers to the process of workers working on tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager, humble inquiry is the opposite of command and control management as it promotes workers as problem solvers, and the role of A3 Thinking in enabling humble inquiry.
