ABSTRACT
Interviews with pianists Allen Toussaint, John Mayall, and J. Roddy Walson are presented. Walson cites the music release "Automatic for the People," by R.E.M. as the first record he purchased, when he was 11. Toussaint discusses what brought him to the instrument he now plays and talks about musician who influenced him the most. Mayall refers to his experience watching Alexis Korner and Cyril Davies as the event that made him realized he wanted to be in music.
