An interview with Bruno Di Leo, senior vice president of sales and distribution at technology and consulting company IBM, is presented. When asked about the most important decision he made as head of the Latin American operation of IBM, he cites the decision to shift their focus to investing in manufacturing to centers for delivering information technology services. The difference between the Latin American market with other emerging markets, and the major changes in the region are discussed.
