Smart Business Akron/Canton;Nov2013, Vol. 23 Issue 6, p48
An interview with Floyd Trouten, director of tax at accounting firm SS&G, is presented. When asked why family offices are so different, he said each family has specific needs and some may already have a third-party investment group that manages their finances. He said potential problems faced by families with concentrated wealth include no financial controls on what different family members can spend, too much money not invested and investors so far spread out.
