An interview with Bob Shearer, co-founder of Shearer's Foods Inc., is presented. When asked what about Or Derv Foods got him interested, he said he looks for something that has a special niche, something in which they could be different. When asked who is in his investment group, he named Bob Hanline, founder and chief executive officer of the RS Hanline Co., Al Melchiorre, chief executive officer and president of Melcap Partners LLC and Steve Surmay, vice president at Shearer's Foods Inc.
