ABSTRACT
An interview with American singer Barry Manilow and his songwriting partner Bruce Sussman is presented. When asked about their musical "Harmony," Sussman mentions a review of German film director Eberhard Fechner's documentary "Comedian Harmonists" which he watched and made as a basis for making the said theatrical production. Manilow notes their focus on hiring young actors and singers for its cast. They also point out their positive remarks towards its director Tony Speciale.
