ABSTRACT
An interview with Aditya Birla Group (ABG) head Dr. Santrupt Misra on the international journey of the firm is presented. When asked on the internationalization role of HR, he replies that HR gets top senior leaders and aligns the organization structure globally. Misra notes that HR acquired its expertise through trial and error and information via seminars and conferences. He states that ABG has in part absorbed people from diverse sources and attracted international talent to join it.
