An interview with U.S. ceramics researcher Rishi Raj is presented. When asked about his studies on electrical fields, he mentions that he conducted research on the effects of electrical fields on plastic flow in metals. He adds that many ceramics producers have started to explore the use of flash sintering in their operations.
