ABSTRACT
An interview with World War II veteran Wayne Field is presented, on his experiences of learning to swim with a disability and becoming a champion in the National Veterans Golden Age Games and the National Veterans Wheelchair Games (NVWG). When asked about difficulties with age, he stated that its physical condition that matters. He follows a strict practice regimen swimming three days a week and doing water aerobics on his off days. Also included are comments by his coach, Adeline Velasquez.
