ABSTRACT
An interview with Elmar Degenhart, chief executive officer (CEO) of Continental AG is presented. He states that the joint venture with SK Innovation Co. Ltd. is beneficial for the company as SK Innovation is investing 1 billion dollars in a battery cell manufacturing facility in Korea. He states that the joint venture is expected to generate sales in about two years. He states that customers are willing to pay 700 dollars to 2,000 dollars extra for electric vehicles compared to a normal car.
