An interview with Booker Direct managing director Mark Aylwin about the emergence of Booker as the fastest-growing delivered wholesaler in Great Britain is presented. According to Aylwin, the takeover of Booker by Blueheath in May 2007 was a necessity. He points out that the independent retailer is the main focus of the company. He explains the importance of customer service to the supply chain.
